私のところには去年の８月に東京から放射能の心配により引っ越してこられた一家が住んでられます。
一応、去年の年末までの仮住まいの予定でしたが、諸事情により今も生活されております。
家族構成は小学生２人、幼稚園児１人のお子さんを持つ若いご夫婦です。
そのご主人から毎朝境内を掃いてほうきの目をつけてもらっております。
早朝に防寒対策ばっちりの服装で３０分くらいかけて掃除をされる姿には頭が下がります。
ほうきの目が綺麗についた後に境内の真ん中を歩くのが申し訳無いくらいです。
公共の場では特にですが、綺麗にしていると不思議なことに皆、美化意識が高まり汚さなくなります。
それに綺麗に保たれた場所では、自然と心も落ち着いてくるものです。
慈光苑も常にそういうところでありたいと思っております！
